Konark Dance and Music Festival, organized in the beautiful and serene atmosphere of Konark, Orissa. Konark is the land of world fame Sun Temple and stunning Chandrabhaga beach. The site owns in its credit the title of world heritage site.

Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan founded Konark Dance and Music Festival in the year 1986. Since then, the festival is privately organized by Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan every year. This year will mark the 25th Silver Jubilee year of the Konark Dance and Music Festival.

Konark Dance and Music Festival provide the visual treat for the art enthusiasts at the tranquil site of the festival, Konark Natya Mandap, Orissa.

The ambience at the place gets filled up with the reverberating beats of 'Raga' and 'Tala' of classical music. This classical extravaganza proudly welcomes distinguished performers from around the globe.

The mega event is filled with the celebrated performances of music recitals of flute, sarod, classical vocal etc and also the bright performances of different dance styles such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Manipuri, Chhau, Gotipua and Ranapa.

The classical mega event is organized every year by Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan every year in the month February. The festive show helds every year at the beautiful cultural village, Konark Natya Mandap. Dates of the festival also remain same every year. This year in 2010, the Festival is from 19-21st Feb, 2010.
